Branson Veal - Ideas. Films. Words.

Branson’s the guy who’ll buy you a drink, then tell you the truth about yourself before you’ve even taken a sip. He’s made ads people actually remember, the kind you see once and feel in your teeth. He’s shot films in cities where the air smells like gasoline and grilled meat, told stories for billionaires and nobodies, and made both of them feel human.

He has very little patience for unnecessary noise. If an idea’s trying too hard, he’ll strip it down until there’s something honest left. He believes most good work already knows what it wants to be. The job is paying enough attention to hear it.

Fiercely loyal to his crew and deeply protective of the people around him, Branson cares less about politics and more about whether the work actually means something. If it’s not good enough, it goes back. Not for perfection. For truth.

Branson’s the kind of guy who sees a beach and wonders what’s just past it. Who’ll cook you a meal that makes you forget about your phone. Who’ll ask you one question that quietly rearranges the furniture in your head.

His work has been recognised by Communication Arts: both Design and Advertising Annuals, Cannes Festival of Creativity, The One Show, The ANDYs, and, of course, his 5th-grade soccer participation medal, which, at the time, meant just about the same as the others.

And honestly, writing your own bio feels strange. Somewhere between an introduction, a confession, and a living obituary.
